Overview
Join the Haira team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India as an AI Engineer Intern. Haira (haira.ai) is an AI‐powered hiring platform that reads and ranks resumes, conducts AI phone screens, runs AI video interviews, and scores candidates to accelerate hiring decisions. This on‐site internship offers five positions where you will actively build and test the AI components behind these products—from resume ranking to real‐time interview automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test AI models for resume ranking, speech‐to‐text, and text‐to‐speech pipelines.
- Implement and fine‐tune prompts for large language model (LLM) APIs.
- Build RESTful services using FastAPI to expose AI functionality.
- Create and maintain PostgreSQL schemas and enable efficient vector search and Retrieval‐Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Write clean, version‐controlled code using Git and GitHub.
- Collaborate with cross‐functional team members to integrate AI components into the hiring workflow.
- Conduct debugging, performance testing, and documentation of AI features.
Required Experience & Skills
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with LLM APIs and Prompt Engineering.
- Knowledge of Speech‐to‐Text (STT) and Text‐to‐Speech (TTS) technologies.
- Hands‐on ability to develop REST APIs, preferably with FastAPI.
- SQL and PostgreSQL familiarity.
- Understanding of Vector Search and Retrieval‐Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Competence with Git and GitHub for source control.
- Minimum experience: 0 years.
